"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." ~(1948) Norman Thomas, Six-time Socialist Cadidate for US Presidency
It does not take an MBA to look at the numbers, just simple addition and division, to know that we, as a nation are in debt up to our eyeballs, and the spending just continues. But don’t take my word for it, I think these guys have an even higher degree:
“March 31 (Bloomberg) — The U.S. government and the Federal Reserve have spent, lent or committed $12.8 trillion, an amount that approaches the value of everything produced in the country last year, to stem the longest recession since the 1930s.
New pledges from the Fed, the Treasury Department and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. include $1 trillion for the Public-Private Investment Program, designed to help investors buy distressed loans and other assets from U.S. banks. The money works out to $42,105 for every man, woman and child in the U.S. and 14 times the $899.8 billion of currency in circulation. The nation’s gross domestic product was $14.2 trillion in 2008. ”
“What’s your Obama debt number when you add up how much you will have to pay on interest over the course of your working career for President Obama’s 2010 budget?
Our estimates find that if you are 20 years old that plans to retire when you are 70, you will owe to President Obama $114,280.72for the interest payments on his budget. ”
And it’s not just about citizens being directly taxed.
Other policies being considered within Obama’s $3.6 TRILLION budget for just 2010 will affect the cost of doing business for the energy sector, which costs are sure to be passed to all who purchase anything and everything. There is not a single thing you an I buy, that is not dependent on energy. Ergo, Obama’s “Cap and Tax” policy will cost us all more. This is a hidden consumer tax that many don’t consider.
Our silence until recent has been deafening. It is time to be heard.
I have heard the name Orly Taitz, but am just now really getting to appreciate what she is doing. If you are interested in the personality and motivations of one of the people who are pursuing definitive proof of Barack Obama’s eligibility to lead this county, this article is the best I have read:
“Drawing on her experiences under a communist regime, she told WND she is determined to do her part to stop America from following in the all-too-familiar footsteps of her former homeland. “
I don’t live in one of those places like you see on CreateTV. You know, your P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home, The Victory Garden, etc. Places with lush beds of perennials and annuals. I wish I did. And if I did I would plant pansies. Every good garden ought to have at least one pansy. They are so colorful and whimisical. They make one smile.
Pansies are great in the garden, but they don’t do well in the Oval office. At least not as far as I have seen.
Not the good people whose lifestyle and livelihoods depend on Polihale State Park.
It seems that when severe flooding washed out an access road into the park, state bureaucrats said even if they did have the money for the repairs, it would take 2 years – and $14 million dollars.
The community rallied resources and got the job done themselves – in EIGHT DAYS!
Today’s government and the politicians involved are so arrogant (yes, they are) as to think that they are the end-all be-all to us citizens; that we need Uncle SamNanny to take care of all apects of our lives.
I say, “Obama, stop perpetrating this lie amongst the citizens of this country, and get the hell out of our way so WE can get moving with the business of this fine (yes I said it – this FINE) country and our economy!”
‘Grassroots’ letter campaign smells of fertilizer – Letter purported to be written by a local resident turns out to be from a major liberal lobbying firm. Personally, if I was the person whose name was on that letter, I would report them…
Opponents of a proposal to use radical technologies to cool Earth’s air requested a preliminary injunction in federal court against any further discussion of said proposal by President Obama’s new science adviser.
A spokesperson for the administration argued that the project would preserve the status quo on areas beyond the mesosphere while limiting harm to the area’s environment and the nearby communities of aliens.
Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, John Holdren, believes that no significant impacts would come from his proposal to shoot particles into the air in a volcanic fashion. Said Holdren: “It’s got to be looked at,” he said. “We don’t have the luxury of taking any approach off the table.”
Their request reminded the court that we have already littered their community with all kinds of garbage and that this deluge of volcanic ash would simply add insult to injury.
Holdren has 30 days from Monday to respond to the motion, followed by another 15 days for any counter response from the plaintiffs.
In other news, Holdren, a 65-year-old physicist, has been asked by pharmaceutical company Merck to participate in a drug trial for a new dementia drug, as Holdren as been osberved to show signs of the progressive brain disorder.
Right now, that public is boiling mad and, with April 15 around the corner, the most important thing brewing is tax protest. For every state in the nation, this tea’s for you.
Lucky for us, our cups runneth over. The nationwide Tax Day Tea Party movement is building incredible steam with an event on the day most Americans dread –- April 15. It’s an H&R Block party to take back our government from people who couldn’t manage the budget of a Kwik-E-Mart.
