Dude — your party has been in control for 8 years.
George W. Bush, your God fearing, flag-wavin’, salt-o-the-earth Red State Real American President, has had 8 years to transform the country to his vision.
And here we are.
Run on your Party’s record.
Everything else is hot air.
Dude, Democrats took control of the Senate AND House 2 years ago and guess, what?
DEMOCRATS defended FANNIE MAE’s and FREDDIE MAC’s accounting practices and of bullying lenders (with the help, of ACORN, I might add) into making risky loans to UNQUALIFIED individuals. THEY let their constituents wade into the trecherous waters of negative credit ratings. Whose interests did they have in mind?
Republicans warned about the impending crisis as the Democrats kissed Mae & Mac’s butts! The top three U.S. senators getting big Fannie and Freddie political bucks (ahem – bribes) were Democrats and No. 2 is Sen. Barack Obama. in spite of only being in the Senate for a very short time.
OH, by the way, that makes Obama and Pelosi BOTH LIARS when they say George Bush’s policies are responsible for the current state of the economy.
Folks, if Obama would have had his way – and enough power – we would have seen this crisis years and years ago.
